Libertas Alberta's core mission is to develop policies and pathways for a successful implementation of them.

The list of possible policies is a long one. We have yet to run out of areas that can be addressed.

So in the interest of maintaining focus we came up with "The First Five". 

​

These are policy areas that we felt were due to a combination of  several factors were the ones to start with.

​

Those factors were:

​

1. Was the area being poorly addressed by the political parties - either due to the political sensitivity or danger they presented?

​

2. Had the area of policy solutions been well thought out? Were there even good solutions being put forward?

​

3. Was there an urgency - a timeliness - to bringing forward policy solutions sooner than later?

​

4. Did conservative politicians need a source of solutions and pathways they could point to?

​
